República Recognized with 22 ADDY® Awards
Burgeoning Miami-based Advertising Agency Honored for its Creative Acumen
República, the Miami-based advertising and public relations agency, today announced that it was the recipient of 22 ADDY® Awards from the Miami-Fort Lauderdale chapter of the American Advertising Federation. The awards presentation was held on March 10th, 2011 at Miami’s Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts.
República was bestowed 7 Gold ADDYs and 15 silver ADDYs for campaigns for several of its marquee clients including Adrienne Arsht, Florida Crystals, Miami Dolphins, Sedano’s Supermarkets, St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, and Univision.
Established in 2006, this year marks the second consecutive year República competes for ADDYs. In 2010, the agency won 7 ADDY Awards in the Miami-Fort Lauderdale chapter and then went on to win three District Four ADDY® Awards (Florida, U.S. Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico), which automatically qualified República’s entries for the national competition. República won two prestigious 2010 National ADDY Awards.
“This is an outstanding recognition for our agency as well as our clients,” said Jorge A. Plasencia, chairman and CEO of República. “These ADDYs are testament to the passion and commitment to excellence of everyone at República.”
The ADDY Awards is the advertising industry’s largest creative competition, attracting more than 50,000 entries every year in local ADDY competitions in 200 cities coast-to-coast. The mission of the ADDY competition is to recognize and reward creative excellence in the art of advertising. Awards bestowed at the local level, then go on to the district competition and ultimately to the national awards.
