Republica Havas Scores Six Clio Sports Awards for “The Name Confusion” Campaign

Agency earns one Gold, four Silver and one Bronze

MIAMI – November 26, 2023 – Leading creative, media, and communications agency Republica Havas took home six Clio Sports Awards across six categories for “The Name Confusion” – a campaign created for the Fight Against Alzheimer’s Association and Racing Club Argentina to shed light on name confusion, an early symptom of Alzheimer’s disease.  

By category, the wins included: one Gold for Partnerships; four Silver for Partnerships, Events/Activation, Social Good, and Brand; and one Bronze for Social Good.

For the campaign, The Clios represent the latest of several major award wins this year. “The Name Confusion” is also the recipient of two Cannes Lions, three London International Awards, and 18 El Ojo de Iberoamérica.

For the agency, this recognition marks its second Clio Sports Award. In 2019, Republica Havas won for “Fútbol” with NBCU Telemundo and the 2018 FIFA World Cup. It was the first-ever campaign that spoke to English- and Spanish-dominant, bilingual, and bicultural audiences with equally impactful messaging.
