The innovation of Motorola smartphones, now in the new Motorola TV.

Motorola is the #1 smartphone seller in Argentina, with over 45% of the market share. However, this strong market position and brand recognition did not translate to the rest of its product ecosystem when compared to competing brands. 

In order to leverage the brand’s strong position in mobile, Republica Havas developed “Mini Rooms”, a campaign that played with the proportions of various living spaces which were scaled down to the size of a smartphone. Therefore, helping viewers make an instant association that gave Motorola TV recognition and validation in this new category.   

The campaign successfully increased market share from 1% to 5% in e-commerce and from 2% to 14% in physical retail points. Additionally, we boosted the association of televisions with Motorola, rising from 3 points in 2022 to 6 points post-campaign. We also increased recall of Motorola TV from 41 points in 2022 to 48 points after the campaign.
