A best-seller, reassembled, raises awareness of a progressive disease

More people die from Alzheimer’s than from breast cancer and prostate cancer combined. Despite staggering statistics, delayed diagnosis is a problem. To bring awareness, we teamed up with The Fight Against Alzheimer’s Association to create “The Alzheimer’s Book, oBko” with help from best-selling author Claudia Piñeiro and Penguin Random House Argentina. To bring this to life, we took one of Claudia’s bestsellers, “Una suerte pequeña,” and reassembled it three different ways. Each version represents one of the three most frequent symptoms of Alzheimer’s disease: repetition of stories, memory loss and chronological alteration. We’re excited to see the impact this project will have on raising awareness of Alzheimer’s.
