Goya 75th Year of Flavorful Moments

After 75 years in business, Goya Foods wanted to celebrate by giving back to the communities that have been with them along the way.

Situation

In February 2011, Goya Foods asked us to help promote their 75th anniversary. To celebrate this milestone, Goya launched a public relations and community relations outreach program nationwide.

Approach

To continue Goya’s 75th Anniversary celebration, we assisted with public relations and events, like the 1 million pound food donation (“Goya Gives”), the One World One Brand Trade Show, and the launch of the book “Si es Goya, Tiene Que Ser Bueno” in Miami, Washington D.C. and New York City. We managed Goya’s Miami and D.C. “Blue Carpet” events, preparing remarks for Goya executives for several speaking engagements, and answering media requests. We also worked on the “Goya Concert Series” sponsorship, which took place in several cities, including Miami, New York, Los Angeles and Chicago.

Results

On behalf of Goya Foods, we received more than 100 million impressions in both English and Spanish, and have continued to work with Goya on their PR efforts in Florida and across the nation.
